Birmingham Personal Injury Attorney Mike Perry learned the value of pain and suffering as a child, watching his father struggle with the loss of a hand suffered in an accident.  The man who caused his father’s injuries denied wrongdoing, and the insurance company responsible for covering his father’s loss turned its back on Mr. Perry’s family.  His father lost his job, and the medical bills mounted.

His father decided to fight back by hiring a personal injury attorney.  They took the case to trial and won, proving the wrongful conduct of the man who caused his father’s harm, and forcing the insurance company to pay. That childhood experience led Mr. Perry to become a trial lawyer, helping injury victims recover their losses from insurance companies who refuse to value his clients’ injuries fairly.

Education, Military Service

Born and raised in Birmingham, Mr. Perry graduated from Minor High School before attending the University of Alabama, where he graduated in 2000 with a B.A. in English/journalism.  Prior to becoming a lawyer, he worked as a reporter for newspapers in several Southeast cities, including Mobile, Ala., and Savannah, Ga.  His reporting earned numerous journalism excellence awards, including the Georgia Press Association’s “Freedom of Information Award”, a top honor for investigative reporting.

In 2008, Mr. Perry enlisted in the Army National Guard and served until 2018, when he was honorably discharged.

Mr. Perry attended Faulkner University, Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, in Montgomery, Ala., receiving his J.D. in 2012.  While in law school, he served as a law clerk to the Hon. Charles Price, Presiding Judge, Fifteenth Judicial Circuit.  He began his legal career in Montgomery, practicing personal injury and criminal defense, before launching his own practice in Birmingham in 2015.

Seasoned Trial Attorney with Big Firm Experience

Since then, Mr. Perry has worked as an attorney for large personal injury firms with offices in Birmingham.  During that time, he tried numerous jury cases and helped injury victims recover millions in settlements and verdicts.

In 2022, he relaunched his personal injury practice in Birmingham to focus on providing dedicated, personal representation to injury victims, like his father.
